Grant & Scholarship Requests

When evaluating financial aid opportunities, it’s very important that the bulk of these opportunities go to families that are in significant need. None of our grants should be given to families who already have sufficient resources or assets.
The scholarship and grant program has a volunteer element where we invite you to contribute to our organization's mission as part of this grant process through volunteering or in what ever way you can. Our philosophy is that we are most empowered when we give to our community and have a personal participation in the organization and community we are a part of. While some people can donate money, others can donate time or resources. We encourage our partner organizations, families and individuals to enjoy the confidence and joy in earning opportunities and participating in the organization's volunteer and giving mission. To be eligible for grants, for the most part, organizations, families and individuals have to demonstrate an earnest effort to do community service in order to give back, and to support our organization's nonprofit mission to help others. This philosophy empowers stakeholders, develops skillsets and relationships, and instills a greater sense of empathy and appreciation for others.
We take into account all aspects of a person's situation, including community service, volunteering, attitude, attendance, kindness towards others, and effort. Each situation is unique and will be evaluated as such. However, one's attitude and contribution to our mission and volunteer program will always play a significant role in the decision process. Preference may be given to players that are active in foundation programs, such as volunteering, the internship, apprenticeship and the overall support of the mission.
